The scholarship was presented by Partner, Amorya Orr during the MC Law Awards Ceremony held on Thursday April 17, 2025.
The Cosmich Simmons & Brown Diversity in the Law Scholarship was established in 2018 by the firm to actively promote and support efforts aimed at increasing diversity within the legal profession. We are excited about her law school journey and look forward to the value and impact that she will bring to the legal profession.”
Madeline Kuluz Tincher, chair of the Cosmich, Simmons & Brown Diversity committee, and associate at the firm echoed these sentiments: “Clarissa’s essay describing her journey to become a first-generation law student proved to our committee she has a deep commitment to increasing diversity in the legal profession and advocating for marginalized communities. She is certainly a deserving recipient of this scholarship, and she will be an incredible lawyer.” The Cosmich Simmons & Brown Diversity in the Law Scholarship not only recognizes Ronquillo’s achievements but also empowers her to continue making a positive impact in the legal field.
