Cosmich Welcomes Mandy Williams to St. Louis Office

Oct 7, 2026

Cosmich is pleased to announce that Mandy M. Williams has joined the firm as a partner in its St. Louis office, strengthening the firm’s litigation capabilities in Missouri and Illinois and adding significant experience in asbestos and toxic tort litigation, product liability, premises liability, and alternative dispute resolution.

Williams brings more than 15 years of litigation experience representing corporate defendants in complex, high-volume matters. Throughout her career, she has served in both national and local counsel roles, developing and implementing litigation strategies for clients facing significant and long-tail liabilities.

Her experience includes serving as National Coordinating Counsel for a legacy defendant, where she developed and oversaw nationwide litigation strategy involving products and premises claims and coordinated with corporate representatives, insurance carriers, outside counsel, and local counsel across multiple jurisdictions. She has also managed hundreds of high-risk asbestos matters and has extensive experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, expert development, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

Williams is also a trained mediator and Certified Litigation Management Professional. Her experience developing alternative dispute resolution strategies, coupled with her understanding of the broader business considerations surrounding complex litigation, allows her to work with clients and carriers to address both immediate litigation needs and longer-term claims management objectives.

“Mandy’s depth of experience in asbestos and products liability litigation, particularly in Missouri and Illinois, makes her an excellent addition to our St. Louis team,” said Managing Partner Clif Jefferis. “Her experience handling matters at both the local and national level further strengthens our ability to provide coordinated, strategic representation to clients across jurisdictions.”

Williams earned her J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale and her Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
