Cosmich is pleased to announce that two of our attorneys, Partner Amorya Orr and Associate Madeline Kuluz, were honored as 2025 Rising Stars at the DRI Asbestos Medicine Seminar held November 12th – 14th in Tampa, Florida. This inaugural award recognizes emerging attorneys within the asbestos defense bar who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, promise, and dedication to advancing the practice.

Chosen from a competitive pool of nominees across the country, Amorya and Madeline were selected for their strong advocacy, commitment to client service, and contributions to complex asbestos litigation. Their recognition reflects both their individual accomplishments and Cosmich’s continued strength in national toxic tort and mass tort defense.

In addition to receiving this honor, Amorya Orr served as a featured speaker during the conference, leading a Young Lawyer breakout session titled “How to Effectively Cross-Examine a Plaintiff’s Causation Expert Witness.” Her presentation, held on Thursday, November 14 at 2:45 PM, offered practical strategies and insights for rising litigators navigating expert testimony in asbestos cases.
