Clarion Ledger Covers Cosmich’s Return to Downtown Jackson

Feb 13, 2026

Cosmich’s return to downtown Jackson this month was prominently featured in the Clarion Ledger, marking both an important milestone for the firm and the city’s central business district.

Speaking with Mississippi’s largest newspaper for the February 2 article, partner Clif Jefferis explained that the decision to take nearly 32,000 square feet of new office space in the Pinnacle Building was driven by the firm’s growth and desire to participate in the revitalization of downtown Jackson. With more than 47 attorneys and staff—soon to be 50 by this fall—Cosmich required a facility that would accommodate its expanding practice. Jefferis expressed optimism that this move would contribute to renewed business activity and community investment in the downtown area.

Cosmich left downtown Jackson for the District at Eastover in 2016. While the firm had no issues with its former location, the opportunity to take premium space with many amenities within walking distance made the Pinnacle an attractive option. The building was purchased by Kumar Bhavanasi in 2025, who has since made significant improvements to the property, including LEED certification and upgraded lighting, security, and parking management systems.
