Cosmich is pleased to announce that Cicely Benoit has joined the firm as an associate attorney in its Houston office. Cicely will work closely with Roger Nebel, supporting the firm’s litigation practice.

Cicely’s practice focuses on toxic tort, premises liability, and construction defect defense, as well as business disputes and complex commercial litigation. She represents clients through all phases of litigation, from early case evaluation and strategy through trial and resolution. Her experience includes serving as first chair in multiple jury trials, leading depositions, managing complex case dockets, and negotiating favorable resolutions.

Cicely earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she also served as a law student tutor and instructional technology coach. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston. Cicely is admitted to practice in Texas and in the United States District and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and is a member of the Garland Walker Inns of Court.
