Overview
Jerry’s practice is varied but focusses on toxic tort litigation. He is local counsel for several national defendants in asbestos litigation and handles all aspects of their representation. He has also handled suits involving benzene and silica exposure claims. In addition to his toxic tort experience, he has also handled varied commercial litigation actions. In his 20+ years of experience, he has taken more than a thousand depositions in 30+ states.

Experience
- Obtained dismissal of commercial litigation action based on incorrect assertion of successor liability.
- Following extensive pre-trial workup, obtained a favorable settlement for incarcerated client in his civil rights action.
- Served as municipal attorney at numerous meetings of local municipality.
- Successfully argued before the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Illinois.

Outside the Office
Jerry is an avid reader. He is currently working his way through the New York Times’ “Best 100 Books of the 21st Century” and the latest Brandon Sanderson Cosmere offering. While not reading you can (try to) find him hiking our National Parks or watching his beloved St. Louis Blues.
