Overview
Shelley Thompson is an Associate Attorney based in our New Orleans, Louisiana office. Shelley’s defense litigation practice focuses on toxic tort and environmental liability, insurance defense, and products liability. She is integral to our trial teams in preparing clients and experts for their depositions and trial testimonies. Shelley is also versed in taking depositions and has successfully defended motions in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Shelley attended Louisiana State University where she received her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law and her Bachelor of Science in Finance. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.

Shelley enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years, their 2 children, and the favorite child of all, their cavapoo, Lucy. On the weekends, you’ll find her cheering on her daughter in her latest theater endeavors or her son in his baseball and flag football games. The Thompson family are die-hard LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Cubs fans.
