Overview

Donna has been a member of the firm for twenty years. Donna focuses her practice on general litigation, insurance defense and provides guidance and counsel to corporations and associations on a variety of issues arising from legal matters. Donna also assists clients in preventative litigation by counseling clients on matters of employment and security issues. She has more than twenty years of extensive experience defending product liability, premises liability, contract law and mass tort cases for her clients.

Donna handles litigation as both national counsel and local counsel and has defended complex liability cases, construction matters, arbitration and employment cases in federal and state courts across the state of Mississippi. Donna has successfully defended her clients’ favorable trial verdicts at all state appellate court levels and at the United State Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Donna is skilled at establishing defenses based on medical and scientific issues, including medical causation and proximate cause. She is experienced in the preparation of experts for deposition and trial, pre-trial matters, including Daubert motions resulting in the exclusion and/or limiting experts and the granting of summary judgment in complex litigation.

Out of the office, Donna can be found in the baseball stands throughout the Southeast watching and cheering on her son, Jackson.
