Overview

Reynold Martinez focuses his practice on managing toxic tort matters and has extensive experience defending entities substantively and procedurally. Reynold works to develop witnesses, prepare legal and factual defenses and defend matters through trial or dispositive motion. While preparing cases for litigation Reynold continues to try to identify or create opportunities for early resolution and cost containment and to exploit those opportunities.

Reynold has broad experience in the defense of bad faith litigation, habitability claims, and contractual disputes. He is able to develop an understanding of complex and multifaceted issues and identify the points of dispute and weakness in each parties’ positions.

Experience

Reynold has successfully negotiated resolution of hundreds of cases, and through case preparation positioned many others for successful resolution or trial.

Successfully pursued a jurisdictional defense of an out-of-state defendant in trial court, and the subsequent filing of a winning writ.

Outside the Office

Outside of the office Reynold is an avid skier, and bicycling enthusiast. He struggles to stay current with trends in music (to keep up with his two teenage kids). As often as he can, he enjoys an evening out with his wife.
