Overview
Doug Kinler is a trial attorney who practices primarily in toxic tort matters. For the past 25 years, Doug has handled, litigated, and tried a number of lawsuits on behalf of corporations, including insulation contracting companies, involving personal injury claims arising from exposures to asbestos. He is involved in all aspects of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trials.
Doug has previously handled contractual issues for local musicians in New Orleans and has represented indigent or absent parties involving child custody matters in the Juvenile Division of Civil District Court in Orleans Parish.

Outside the Office
Doug has been married to his wife Monique for 25 years, and they are the proud parents of two sons – Jack and Clay. Doug’s passion is music, and he has been a professional guitarist in New Orleans for the past 35 years since the late 1980s. He was a founding member of The Bucktown All-Stars, a popular New Orleans band, and he currently plays with groups including The Benchwarmers, New Suit, and The Alleycats.
