Overview
Cicely Benoit is an associate attorney member of our Houston team. Cicely’s practice is primarily focused on personal injury, premises liability, and construction defect defense, business disputes, and complex commercial litigation. Cicely represents clients through all phases of litigation, from early case evaluation and strategy through trial and resolution. She has served as first chair in multiple jury trials and has substantial experience in leading depositions, managing complex case dockets, and negotiating favorable resolutions. She regularly partners with clients to develop practical litigation strategies, assess risk, navigate mediations and settlement negotiations, and prepare for trial.
Cicely earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she also served as a law student tutor and instructional technology coach for law school professors and staff. She is admitted to practice in Texas and in the United States District and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, and is a member of the Garland Walker Inns of Court.
